If your device does not support NFC, biometric identification is not possible. In this case, you can register a Smart-ID account in the following ways:
- Using another Smart-ID device
If you already have a Smart-ID account on another smart device (e.g. a tablet or an old phone), you can use it to create a new account. Select “Smart-ID” as the registration method and follow the instructions. - At a bank branch
The most reliable way to create an account without NFC support is to visit a bank branch (in Estonia: Swedbank, SEB, or Luminor). Bring a valid identity document (passport or ID card). A bank employee will verify your identity and help activate your account.
