I want to use Smart-ID. There is a button with the Smart-ID logo, but there is no place to enter my ID code?

Do all mobile devices, even very old ones, support newer QR code security features? Is all that is needed, just a device with a camera?

You should not directly scan from camera app as this will not work directly. You should open Smart-ID app for QR code scanning (via a button on the Smart-ID home screen). If a QR code is scanned with a generic camera app or another QR reader app, the Smart-ID app opens to its QR code reading screen, and the scan must be repeated.
