RegistrationWhen registering for an account, I receive an error message “No parent identified”. What should I do?
This error message means that there was a problem retrieving information from the state Population Register. If you receive this error message, try registering again: it may have been a simple connection error. If the error persists, it might mean that the information about your parent/legal guardian is missing or incorrect. If you are sure that the information you provided is correct, please review your information in the state Population Register:
- updating data in the population register in Estonia
- updating data in the population register in Latvia
- updating data in the population register in Lithuania
Starting from the autumn 2017, you can register a Smart-ID account for a minor in a bank office, too. Please note that both the parent and the minor need to bring an identification document.
