The personal identity authentication application Smart-ID is now also available for download by Huawei smartphone users from the AppGallery app store.
Huawei app store already includes all the biggest service providers in the retail, transport, and payment service categories. AppGallery, which was publicly launched in 2018, has quickly become the third biggest official app store in the world with 530 million active users monthly. During the past year, the number of AppGallery users in Europe has grown by 61.5%, or over 42 million users. Currently, the platform has over 120,000 apps, whose number has doubled in the Baltics and continues to grow every day.
