Error messages

Did you get an error message saying “We were unable to successfully pass your device security check”? This means that the security check for your smart device has failed and your authentication has not been authorised.

The most common reason for this is an interrupted connection: try waiting for a few minutes before trying again. If the issue persists, get in touch with Smart-ID customer service.

This error message is displayed if the Smart-ID system suspects a security risk (i.e. use of a rooted device) or when the security check was disrupted (i.e. due to bad connection). It might also happen if your phone settings are considered to be ‘unusual’. Call our support team if you need help!
